Hello!

I have tried so many different products and potions but I can never seem to get all of my mascara off at the end of the day! Does anyone have any products or methods they use that are tried & tested? Do you have any handy tips for removing eye makeup?

  • I think it depends on what you wear. The new type tube mascaras are fairly easy to remove. Just moisten your mascara with water and gently pull it off your lashes and it comes off easily in a tube form- hence its name.

  • I use makeup wipes and Maybelline eye make up remover they both have always done the trick! :)

  • Clinique has an excellent eye make up remover.

  • I’m a baby wipe gal as well. I always have them and when I get home off with the make up and I like the feel of my fresh clean face.

  • I second the baby wipes! They are great and doesn’t irritate.

  • You must be using a water proof mascara, there are some great products at the chemist for this one

  • Natural scented oils … so they are soft on your skin and eyes.

  • im not the only one that uses baby wipes – good to know :)

  • Baby wipes have worked well for me.

  • I way going to weigh in with a hearty ‘Baby wipes’ but it seems I’m not alone in recognizing their powers of cleansing!

  • Mary Kay make up relieve is the best. And good for your skin

  • baby wipes work wonders for everything

  • Baby oil is great….only use a little bit on a Cotton ball/pad as it can be greasy but it does the trick

  • I’ve always used Dove makeup remover (previously called Ponds Cold Cream). It gets everything off and is gentle and moisturising. I have tried Swisspers wipes and other brands from time to time but find a lot of them very drying.

  • I use organic coconut oil. For about $5 – $10 you can get a large jar. Put a little on your fingertips rub hands together if it has solidified then onto your eyes . Wipe off with a tissue. To remove heavy makeup splash on some warm water before wiping. Coconut oil is gentle to my sensitive skin and doesn’t dry it out, yet won’t adversely affect oily t-zone. Smells yum to.

  • I use an Arbonne cleanser to remove make-up.

  • Have u tried a cleanser to remove it?

  • Leave it on.then you don’t have to reapply tomorrow.

  • I tried some Clinique make-up remover on the weekend. Seemed to work great, but I don;t wear waterproof mascara. Not sure on price either as it was a free sample.

  • The “freshen up “from takeaways like KFC etc
