I think it is up to your personal preference. There will always be someone that disagrees or disproves of something.

No; never taken kids to a circus with animals.

I haven’t taken our kids to the circus, and wouldn’t take them to one that mistreats animals. However there are several circuses now that don’t use animals but still have really entertaining shows – I think that’s what I’d consider taking the kids to.

My parents took us to the circus as kids & from an entertainment point of view, it is great for kids. I haven yet taken my 2 boys as I feel they are too young. I think looking at how the circus treats its animals would help me make that decision. But growing up it was ver much entertainment & it’s only now that I’m older that I’m aware of how animals are treated. Like anything there is the good & the bad points to it. And only you as a family can make the best decision for you.
