I’d give the Vaseline and socks a try.

I use paw paw ointment and socks when going to bed.

Vaseline works wonders on dry skin and so affordable!

I’ve cracked heels too. What works best for me is regularly file the feet before taking a shower and smear with vaseline before bed, covering it with a cotton sock.

My secret is Vaseline. Rub it into your heels and put some socks on every night for a week and you will notice your heals are smoother, softer and not dry.

Aloe vera mixed with olive oil

I, too, have had no success with lotions and balms and find a foot file is the best and least expensive option. Three times a week before my shower, and my heels are silky smooth.

A regular use of a foot file does the trick. Just get one that doesn’t have batteries or anything. Manicare make a good one for about $8. I use it a couple of times a week and it keeps my feet smooth

Epsom salts.. Soak them for 10 minutes then use a pumice stone on them then re soak for another 10 minutes then dry the use a moisturiser or petroleum jelly. We recommend this alot at my work. (chemist warehouse) for people who prefer a natural way to treat it. you could also use eulactol heel balm.

I have an inexpensive dry skin shaver, like a mini grater .I have a bath at least once a day and use it in the bath skin is softer to grate away. If I am not going to wash my hair baby oil I use to massage feet and all over a treat to do. Pat dry and moisturise again Nivea body lotion I use again all over as not oily but smoothing it is true. In the past I used the Eulactol Heel Balm. It seemed to help at the beginning, but then the problem kept coming back.

So interesting the idea of the nipple balm. I generally use Nivea at night and put socks on. I read that putting some coconut oil and socks on helps too, but I have never tried that.

It’s not exactly natural, but I have had great success with nipple balm. Lansinoh and Marcalan have both worked for me. Rub it into the skin and the cracks before bed and pop some socks on to keep it off the sheets. It was all that would fix mine when I was pregnant.

I had some short term success by using rich moisturising cream and covering my feet in plastic and then some socks, but I found in the long run it actually made the cracks deepen and it just got worse. Nipple balm all the way!
