We’ve had friends who hired a “superhero” who came and organised all the games for the kids, did face painting and “clown” things at their house. We’ve also been to parties at Monkey Mania and they were great simply because there were a ton of things for the kids to climb and jump on, and food and drinks and games were all organised by the venue. Super easy for the mum. Congrats on your upcoming birth!

A party planner for a 2 year olds birthday party?!?! Are you crazy lady?!?! If you’re looking at booking a venue, surely you can do that now, and have everything booked and sorted before you give birth?

Do you have a close family member that could do the organising for you?

Whilst not knowing one – I can say that many children entertainers can help with this, and some venues may also be able to help. If you have seen an entertainer at a public event, you can contact them direct (they won’t advertise to the general public, but will perform for you). We did this once and it worked really well. Can’t say I did a big party for ours until they were quite a bit older than 2 – a 2 year old probably won’t remember the part anyway – you could save your efforts until another year?
