Hello!

Have heard a lot of this lately and was wondering how it works and how you set it up. Any hints or tips would be great.

  • I have heard of a friend who did an online party. She asked everyone to have certain foods ready so they could celebrate by eating the same thing at the same time.

  • It’s good to start with but once you’ve exhausted your friends and family guest list, it’s a bit difficult to keep tgem going

  • A friend of mine was a Younique consultant. She did a few online parties. The first one or two she was helped out by the person who got her into it. That showed her the ropes and she became quite competent. What she struggled with was making enough sales. It’s tough to build up clientele with just online people

  • I didn’t know these parties were now organised online. I’ve learnt something new.

  • MCY sister in law used to be a Tupperware Rep and I remembered she said you do have put some time in organising parties to gain some sort of benefit. It might even be once week. She had to give it up once she became too occupied with another job .

  • Most of the online parties I’ve seen have been on Facebook. People advertise whatever their party us about (candles, jewellery, nails etc) with a date and time. Then they send out the personal invites with address and contact details via personal message to their Facebook friends

  • I am part of a regular online party with facebook. Basically you post the event date and time, invite who youwant to attend, then its just a matter of posting the relevant pictures and comments and giving ppl time to respond to each new post and at the end of the party stick around to answer comments

  • No I never heard of an online party. But are good!

  • If you’re a consultant for a direct sales company you can hold parties online as well as in-home. Basically you create a facebook event, get the host to invite all her friends and hold the whole party on that event page. Showcase your products, play games, have giveaways if you wish, and give the guests the link to your website so that they can make their purchases.

  • Australia is a big country but I have found just how small it is you think you would get then one person interested. Anyway story of my life. wouldn’t be able to ice on a hot day if I was the only person doing it. One day, one day

  • Well its not going to good for me so hope she has better luck, Just thought would be good as cant go and do parties normal way due to health.

  • Wow never heard of an online party, not a bad idea for my Nutrimetics selling friend, might clue her in on this!

  • well im doing one tonight until wed 8th anyone want to look and buy nutrimetics have a look anywhere in Australia ask questions http://www.facebook.com/TracysNutrimetics and click on the event lets party. Help a at home mum/patient

  • Well im going to try and do one with Nutrimetics being at home because of Leukemia I need to do something like this. We try it and if okay will do again

  • I’d never heard of this. Thanks to those who posted answers.

  • oh ok that is kind of what i thought that it was about. awesome!

  • I’ve been wanting to do an online party as I’m a Nutrimetics consultant and sometimes it would be easier for both myself and the host to do online parties. I have one or two who want to do one, but I’m a little bit unsure on what to do with it.

  • I have heard of these…they are starting to pop up a fair bit. I think it is a good idea for those who cannot get a baby sitter etc

  • This is the first I’ve heard of it and think from the response I get the gist of it…similar to the Tupperware party that used to be brought to a household its now just conducted online?

  • The party I participated in had activities leading up to the party, during the party and after the party. The important part was the person having the party was also involved in posting the party information too-the demonstrator and the hostess.
