I have been desperate to lose weight after having 2 kids, and I’m hearing a lot of success stories with the Garcinia Cambogia weight loss program. Has anyone tried it? Does it really work? Does the garcinia cambogia diet work?

  • I use it. I’ve lost so far in 2weeks 10cms give or take depending on the part of body I’ve measured. I haven’t changed my diet nor am I excersing anymore then I used to. All my clothes are getting loose on me now. So far I am loving it. But hasnt been a month yet so I hope to actually see results in a months times. You need to be careful because there are alot of dodgy tablets on the market. Do your research first. Basically you need to be looking for is Garcinia Cambogia Extract above 500mg and with a 60%HCA approx.

    Also need to be careful with how much you pay for these tablets. Alot of ‘companies’ are charging insane prices for a months worth (60 tablets). You shouldnt be paying more then $20-30/per a bottle. I got mine off of ebay and only paid $18 (including postage).

    I suggest taking a colon cleanse because you can find yourself alittle constipated even with drinking alot of water. (Though I have not taken any colon cleanse tablets but will next month).

    I measure myself once a week. I don’t own scales so I’ve haven’t recorded any weight lose, just measurement lose on chest, waist, hips, arms and thighs.

  • another good idea is 2 cups of warm water before meals and kiwi fruit with skin on, you wash it incold water and eat it with the skin in the mornings, you can also have more of them as a snack. I walk everyday so nothing was working but since i started this one i am feeling heaps better and have started to loose weight.

    I am a huge advocate of a real food “diet”. It may be different and tough to start out with but I’ve cut out 98% of processed foods and am now grain free, dairy free and refined sugar free. Best thing ever for your health and lost weight obviously as a pleasant side affect 🙂


  • Skip ‘dieting’ and make small adjustments in your diet that are sustainable. High protein and low saturated fats are good. Skip low fat / low sugar options and either reduce portion sizes or switch to a product that is naturally lower in fat. And drink lots of water. Some people find using a smaller plate helps reduce portion size. I serve myself the same size meal as my 5 yr old, in fact often he eats more!

  • I’ve just signed up for Cyndi O’Meara’s HCG protocol. I have been eating clean and exercising regularly for over 3 months with hardly any weight loss (I retained 10kg after baby 1 and I’m another 8kg above that from baby 2 – who is now 2.5!).   • I’ve heard of it, but not personally used it. I believe it’s just another of the diet fads around, like the plexus slim stuff. I’ve lost 20kgd by healthy eating, smaller portions and exercise. My 2kids love getting fresh air!

  • I’ve not used it, but I have 4 kids 4.5yrs and under…and I’ve always lost it again buy 40mins cardio a day and really clean eating & water . 🙂 good luck, and don’t forget to give your body a chance to recover from childbirth! I always wait til my abdominal muscles realign 🙂


  • Never heard of it, but unless it is a diet you can live on I doubt it will work. I’ve had great success with the South Beach Diet, and it is a way of eating supported by doctor research, and adaptable to life.
