  • Sunshine Coast hinterland. Beautiful scenery and food. But my husband was born and raised there so to him it isn’t a holiday.

  • I love the Blue Mountains and Tasmania – both have a lot of natural beauty.

  • anywhere with a nice beach, Lorne, Rye, Bondi, Qld

  • Adelaide Hills, sydney for a weekend getaway or Kingscliff for a low key beach holiday

  • Tasmania or Victoria. Both have beautiful scenery, gorgeous small country towns and also family

  • Anywhere with a beach but always love going to Byron Bay, easy flight from Melbourne, beautiful beach and yummy food!

  • In SA there is a few places but some a fair distance apart.
In Williamstown very close to the Barossa Valley which is famous for its wines there is a reservoir which has 2 names. The Barossa Reservoir and the Whispering Wall. In the ;provided fenced area people can stand and talk to people the other end. You don’t have to raise your voice much or yell at all. There is only one other in the world. It is in Europe but I don’t remember the location. In the Adelaide Hills in Gumeracha there is the huge Rocking Horse you can climb and look out over the hills etc. Lobethal and Hahndorf are famous for the early settlement and beautiful old buildings. On the outskirts of Hahndorf is a property called “The Cedars” I belonged to a famous painter and is now a museum. The garden area at the back can be hired for garden weddings. There is plenty of parking. I don’t know what the admission charge is. You can go for organised cruises on the River Murray. There is a lunch one leaves from Murray Bridge. If you have a few days to spare there is cruises that go for a few days. I believe some of them may depart from Mannum. If you want to see our wildflowers you can go to the Flinders Ranges in Spring (around Sept. – Oct.) Travelling in the area on the way you may see wild budgies , other birds including emus, and kangaroos etc. There is good accommodation at Quorn and Blinman. There is an old mine at Blinman but to my knowledge you can’t enter it for safety reasons. There is train rides from Quorn along and old train line. When the weather is suitable and there is no risk of fires at all they often use steam trains which are staffed by volunteers. There is a charge to cover the running and maintenance of the trains.

  • Tasmania is a favourite destination in our household.

  • I love Surfers!
There’s the zoo, sea world, theme parks and the night markets at the beach.
I find it so relaxing there.
If you stay at the Hilton and get the executive package you get a buffet breakfast which includes mini Magnums – yummm!

  • Albany in Western Australia is beautiful. Great swimming spots and lots of walking trails. Great restaurants and cafes.

  • We love the Grampions. So much to do

  • Jervis Bay – whitest sand in the world! Beautiful bush trails, close to some wineries, cute towns on the way and not far from Syd :)
