Hello!

Hubby and I are thinking about baby number 2. We were told that the hairline on the neck of the baby will predict the next baby’s gender. Hair straight across- which means same gender. If it goes into a peak it would be a different gender. My daughter’s hair is straight across, so I should have another girl. Just for a bit of fun, lets test this wives tale. Does it line up with your children, or is it a busted myth?

  • Lol. I only had one so I’ll never know.

  • Come to think of it, my first born was a boy, his hair came to a peak and my second was a girl.

  • If that was the case I wouldn’t have my Dad’s fine wavy hair and my Mum’s thick wiry hair.

  • no it is just an old wives tale of course so don’t take it too serious and just have fun

  • Interesting article so long as it’s not harming anyone!

  • Wish I new this before have my 3 lols

  • Lol! I suppose it’s about a fifty fifty chance of being right.

  • I only have one, and I haven’t heard of this tale before, but fascinated!

  • Ha ha ha not that simple. So many tales, I was also told if you make your baby very early in the morning you would get a girl and late in the day a boy. So every morning at 4am we tried to make one and eventually did, but out came a boy. All we did was create a son who loves to get up between 4-6am every morning without fail.

  • It’s a myth or my 4th child would of been a girl but nope was a boy.

  • I have never heard of this before. I will look at the kids and see

  • there are some good comments here

  • I haven’t heard that before, there are so many different myths out there.

  • would love to know if this works out lol

  • From my experience with three baby boys I’d say myth!

  • I’ve never heard of this before. Seems like there is divided opinion on whether or not it has come true for others though.

  • well its ounds like an old wives tale,,, but remember it si the sperm that determines the sex of the child

  • Er that’s scientific lol

  • Sorry silly question but which hair line ?

  • Have Never Heard Of This, But Sounds Fun, Both My Twin Boys HairLine Goes Straight Across, But They Have A Younger Sister, And She Has A Little Peak, So So Far It Sounds Like An Old Wives Tale To Me 🙂
