Hello!

After shaving it, my son’s head developed a fungus like blisters behind his head. Please what can be done? I have tried some therapy, but it is proven to be very stubborn.

  • I think you might need a visit to the GP for this one. Hopefully it clears up quickly.

  • Maybe a dermatologist will have something better as that prescribed by a chemist and a GP doesn’t seem to be working at all. It has stopped spreading though! He got it from a barbing saloon!

  • Also; avoid placing any products on the area until it has been treated by a GP/dermatologist as products may aggravate the condition.

  • Have you seen a G.P yet? If hard to shift seek expert advice.

  • See a Doctor and have it checked as their are so many things it could be.
If his head was shaven at a Salon he could have caught something from unclean shaver etc.
If it keeps getting bigger it could be Impetigo is a contagious skin infection caused by staph or strep. A friend of mine got it in his hair after sharing a set of headphones at his job. Theses things happen so beware.

  • I would suggest going and seeing your doctor, they maybe warts or verrucae. Best to seek a medical opinion to be safe.

  • Maybe see a GP/Dermatologist for advice and treatment.

  • Seriously I would see a Dr. That doesn’t sound normal from just shaving a head. Unless the blades you used have been contaminated and you know exactly what it is then see a chemist.

  • Not really blister, but a portion like figure 8, with very little rashes, proving very stubborn to go away. I have used pomades and other head scrubs!
