Fresh fruit, veggie sticks with humus, nuts, multigrain sandwiches, natural greek yoghurt which I serve with a small container of homemade granola, vegetable muffins, roast flava beans / chick peas, papadums, natural popcorn
On Sunday make zucchini muffins or cheese twists with puff pastry. Vegemite scrolls with puff pastry. With oven on, get a couple of homemade baking things going.
Will do for lunches for two or three days, hopefully more.
For variety in a sandwich try cookie cutter shapes for difference.
A Tupperware container with carrot, celery sticks. Cheese cubes.
Mini pancakes! That’s one of my go to easy snack for school or kinder lunch boxes. Made using mashed overripe bananas, eggs and rolled oat. Super easy and can be made in advance the night before. My child doesn’t mind eating it cold too. Simply blend everything and then pan fry with a little bit of butter.
I give my son popcorn, fruit (grapes, blueberries etc), muesli bar, sultanas, cheeky monkeys (you can get different flavours and they are found in the health food section in supermarkets), cheesymite scroll, homemade muffins etc
