I think 12 is way too young. It will distort his idea of what relationships should be like.

I don’t think this is a “one size fits all” thing. There are a lot of different things that come into it. Is your child a younger child in their grade so dealing with 13+ yr olds. Did they see something only and just went from there. I would be sitting having an open discussion with them.

I think 12 is much to young. The kids I know that age are still much more into video games.

Mine’s 12, and so far as I know, he’s not looking for it yet. One of the things I’m planning to do s talk about the fact they’re fantasy – not reality.

Difficult one, As parents i feel we are never ready for things like this. I personally wouldn’t mention the videos to him but make sure lines of communication are open.

Have a chat with his teachers or if your school has a councillor you can chat to to get appropriate advice as they are the trained professionals at knowing / advising you on what to do.

Wow I haven’t thought about this before. I don’t have boys but I would say that 12 is quite young for that. But I guess that depends on the child and the parents. So maybe do what you feel is best for this one 🙂

My son is 14yrs old and he doesn’t do it but it Isn’t unusual at any age from 9yrs old depending on their maturity and exposure. Some people think it Isn’t a bad thing, but the way women often are seen as a sexual object by male can be rather damaging. A good relationship with your children and openness in general and in specific in regards to sexuality can be very helpful.
A restrictive approach can have an opposite effect.

I would imagine at any age over about 10. Once they’re curious they’ll search it up. It’s not necessarily a bad thing though.

I think its to young. Try to talk to your son about it…i think porn can be misunderstood by young people as shows unrealistic expectations and no respects for others ect.

I’m afraid I think he is too young to be watching porn, when is is older say 17-18 it up to him. I don’t understand why he wants to watch them now unles your watching them out in the open.

No age I hope lol. Although my son is now 19 but I would presume probably when he started High school. They all go through it.

I dont think your going to get a great answer for that because most teens will hide it so not alot of parents will no exactly when it started. Just let your son be a man because if you take things away like prom, alcohol or women there just gunna do it behind your back anyway so would you rather it in your house or somewhere else you cant monitor it.
