Your family will always be your family. Friends come and go.

Friends who are basically family to care for them like you would, family to be the support and take the for holidays etc.. That way the child(ren) will grow up knowing you from a friends point of view and family.

Our sisters are god parents to our first child. Most probably close friends will be godparents to the next one.

My partner chose his best friend and I chose mine 🙂 they’re both excellent with our daughter.
