It was terrible to see the children of illegal immigrants being separated from their parents. It would be so traumatic for both children and parents.

I see Sco Mo is limiting immigration to Australia now. I think it’s a good idea. If a countries infrastructure is struggling to support their population, it makes sense to stop or reduce the numbers coming in. Fix your own backyard before getting involved in someone else’s

I think Australia should follow suit, but not just for 90 days. Our country cannot support the amount of immigrants/refugees, we can barely support the people we have here now. So much homelessness and poverty which will 0nly increase with more people. Putting pressure on our welfare bill, hospitals, housing, infrastructure. It’s ok to say open the borders and let them in, most are escaping horrific situations in their own country……and before you know it, we won’t be able to cope and probably find ourselves in the same situation as the countries they’ve left.

I see it as a good and bad idea. The world is becoming more dangerous and sneaky. Many terrorist groups are causing danger and Trump wants to put his country first and this idea is smart in a way.. 90 days to tighten security measures and training that’s beneficial. I can see it causing major strain on other countries and the relationship they have with America though.

Every day a new and sad policy and relationships are being strained around the world.

Each day seems to bring more policies that shock and sadden me by Trump.

I personally think he’s crazy!

They might seem harsh, but I think with the way the world is, ISIS and terrorism, we need to try something. It’s only a 90 day ban. It’s also refreshing to see a politician following through with his promises
