Hello!

My little one is one and he has a bottle before bed. How do you warm your little ones milk? Stove top, microwave, hot water in a cup??

  • We used to stand the bottle in very hot water in a jug with a narrow base.
If heating the bottle in the microwave we were told you should not put it in with the teat on it.. You need to put it on the top to shake the bottle afterwards to mix it to check the temperature.

  • I fill my daughters bottle 2/3 with milk and top it up the other 1/3 with boiling water from the kettle. It’s the perfect measurements for a nicely warmed bottle

  • Microwave cold milk and stir well before serving.

  • I put boiling hot water in with my boys milk.
It’s the only way he’ll drink it, and it’s warm :)

  • We use the microwave now it’s quick and easy.

  • I warm it before bed, this helps her settle. And sometimes during the day, but am trying to give her cold milk daytime now.

  • Its not too cold here so hot water in a cup works for us, try and avoid microwaves if you can!

  • I’ve got a tiny saucepan (from Target) and just heat the milk in that. It takes about the same time as a microwave but leaves nutrients in tact.

  • Stand the bottle into a dish with hot water – this is how I do for my little one.

  • I preferred to heat bubs bottle in a dish of hot water, I never liked the idea of using the microwave.

  • Microwave is my friend and i’d use it for warming milk too.

  • We always used the microwave as it was quick and easy and you knew exactly how long to put it in for.

  • Hot water in a cup works fine

  • hot water in a pyrex jug.I think it is easier to not overheat it and ruin the nutrition content.

  • i use the microwave or add a bit of hot water from the kettle in.

  • Microwave its far to cold for anybody to be out of bed for long.

  • microwave

  • I used to fill 2/3 with milk and top up with hot water from the kettle. No microwave in my house when kids were little. This was after they stopped breast feeding.

  • I use the microwave I like it because I know exactly how long it takes now to make it a good temp for bub

  • I have used many way in the past to heat a bottle from a bottle warmer which heats it up for you but found it was a waste of time, you might as well use sitting bottle in hot water for 3-4 minutes. But the quickest way i have found id to heat it in the microwave for 40 seconds, but not all at once. do it in small installments and give it a quick swirl to move milk around so it doesnt have any hot dpots in it for bubs. and test before giving it to make sure its not to hot.
