Hello!

I feel like I have had a much slower metabolism since having children. I’m just not getting the results I used to from healthy eating and exercise.  I know some foods and teas can help but I just don’t know which ones work? Does anyone have any tips on how to boost your metabolism?

  • Green tea works!


  • Eat a small serve of protein every three hours.


  • My doctor today wanted to put me on duromine to help lose weight – I’ll be going to another doctor who isn’t going to prescribe me legal speed


  • Green tea works, I lost all my baby weight after each of my 3 babies with healthy eating, exercise and 3 cups of green tea daily.


  • Have you had your thyroid checked??? I had the same issue found out pregnancy can cause hypothyroidism.


  • I assume you’ve had your thyroid tested already. If not, it would be worth checking it out just to be sure.


  • I’ve been doing the Matt O’Neill Metabolic Jumpstart – great program that is very easy to follow!


  • Coconut oil is excellent for boosting metabolism and burning fat. Also thermogenic foods such as green tea, chilli, capsicum e.g. warming foods.


  • Some spices foods chilli etc can boost it if hot things are ok with you some milder ones avaliable 🙂


  • I am exactly the same… Green tea and caffeine are a must in my new diet!


  • Try find a trainer that teaches mp (metabolically precise) its a lifestyle change that gets your metabolism up to scratch by eating lots of healthy clean foods. They also teach how to eat around your workouts etc so you get the most out of your workouts

  • As we get older our metabolism slows. This is hard as I feel I have to work twice as hard to stay at a normal weight.
    All I can suggest is to watch your weight and exercise every day.
