I use a whitening toothpaste and it works quite well but l can really notice a difference when l get a normal clean from the dentist.

I have heard rubbing banana peel on your teeth works. I haven’t tried it but I have heard it a few times.

there is a brand of whitener that my sister uses-( i think it’s colgate but i keep thinking that is a red container) and it’s made a noticeable difference to her teeth

Try whitening toothpaste and a mouthwash or rinse.

I use salt for whitening, my teeth love it. But I get tea stains and am trying to find a home remedy as can’t always afford a clean at the dentist.

Just be careful as I used a tooth whitening toothpaste, large tube, completely on my own and have ruined the enamel on my teeth. Seems it is just my bad luck, no remedy.

We use whitening toothpaste as just a normal part of our daily dental ritual along with the mouth wash that has whitening properties and once a year I buy a whitening teeth kit for each of us. Also pop along to your dentist for a good scale and clean.

A whitening toothpaste is your best bet, use it everyday and you should notice a difference. Personally the teeth of those actors and presenters on tv today just look way over the top. Baby teeth aren’t even that white.

We use equal parts coconut oil and baking soda mixed together and a drop of oul peppermint oil.

Check with a few different dentists because whitening treatments are no longer as expensive as they used to be. I had the trays made especially for my teeth and had at home and in dentist kits and it cost me in total $105. Now that I have the trays i just get more whitening treatments and brighten them up yearly and a kit costs $65 and lasts me just over 2 years.

Hey there Cherz. Some time ago I mean a few years (as I don’t drink red wine anymore) I had red wine build up stains, as well as coffee on my teeth and tried the method you described and it most certainly does work. I had been desperate and ringing around to get a good price but back then tooth whitening was even more expensive than it is now and I saved myself hundreds of dollars. Great advice from Cherz.

My advice is actually a caution to you. I to decided I wanted whiter teeth and used a whitening toothpaste for quite a while and I have now irreversibly damaged the enamel on my teeth. Just be cautious with what you do. Good luck.

I had mine cleaned and a fluoride treatment at the dentist today and it made a huge difference – much whiter and cleaner looking.
