Have you been given any brief at all? Or does anything go? I’d stay away from alcohol for a start. Chocolates are expensive and don’t go very far. I’d opt for something simple that everybody would be able to have – chips or sweets, you can buy both relatively cheaply and you will get a good quantity to go around. Or candy canes, seeing as it is for Christmas. A couple of boxes of cheap bon bons (crackers) to break the ice with hats and gimmicks, and some party poppers so everyone can join in!

Balloons are always fun as it is bad you can get some cheeky funny ones. Also take along some Party poppers they can be relatively cheap. If you have any monies left from $20 pick up some cheap crackers and cubed cheese.

If you can’t think of anything else then you can’t go wrong with a nice box of chocolates.

If you want to be a bit more inventive then you could try and find a nice serving platter (still in the box, obviously, not with food on it 😀 ). You could definitely find a serving platter or something like a set of tapas plates for under $20.

You could also take a look in the water play / outdoor section at K-mart… Plenty of those novelty inflatable things would fit the ‘pool party’ criteria. As would a beach towel.

So I would buy some kiddies party toys as this is a Adult christmas Party so No alchol

Things to take to a party;
– A bottle of wine.
– A cheese platter
– Packets of chips

I obviously don’t go to many parties 🙂

Wine charms (to mark your glass) might be good.
