  • To be honest, I don’t really believe in this.
I think in general we’re all unique and all have strength and gifts.
    For those who haven’t heard of it;
Indigo children, according to a pseudoscientific New Age concept, are children who are believed to possess special, unusual, and sometimes supernatural traits or abilities. The idea is based on concepts developed in the 1970s by Nancy Ann Tappe and further developed by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. Wikipedia

  • I hadn’t heard of this before I just looked it up. To be honest, I think plenty of kids have traits like this but I don’t necessarily think it means they have special abilities. I think all children should be encouraged to be who they are and not what others expect them to be like but I wouldn’t jump to conclusions and assume that traits like this mean they’re going to develop special psychic abilities but yes they may just be intuitive people.

  • I call in a strong instinct, where l just know already.

Like anything let a kid be a kid they can explore their gifts as they grow.

  • i have no idea what this mean’s either, i’ll google it :)

  • I have never heard of this one either.

  • I was told this when my eldest child was around the 3year old mark. I never saw any evidence of it and now she is 28 and I would say that they were very wrong.

  • I’ve never been told this but I do know of people and in some cases children that possess these traits

  • I’ve never heard of this. Can you give us any more information?

  • I have never heard of indigo children before sorry I cant help!

  • I looked this up and no, never heard of it before. Never come across children or adults with any of these traits.

  • I’ve never heard of the term but I have noticed my children say the strangest things. Things they couldn’t have known. I guess someone in tune with that kind of thing might be able to sense it in a child. But I’d make sure they were legit and not just saying things you want to hear. There are probably more charlatans than legit psychics sadly.

  • Hello. According to my friend, who is a Psychic Medium… I am clairaudient, clairalient, a medium, an indigo child and also an empath and clairsentient.

It is a bit difficult to take seriously, to be honest… Even though I see the evidence every day… My entire life it has been drummed into me, that ‘Normal’ is the only way to be, and so a healthy dose of skepticism is an absolute necessity.

Unfortunately, this means that I waited 30 years before asking why I saw and heard things that nobody else did. And why being out in public makes me feel as drained as if I had run a full marathon, even if it was just dinner with family and friends. Or why I can always tell when someone is BS’ing to me when we’re talking in person. LOL. Apparently it is also why strangers feel a desperate need to tell me their entire life story when we’re sitting at a bus stop, or waiting in line for service. :P

If you are curious about it, I would highly recommend looking into some training, (if you can afford it) to help hone in on your skills, and to understand it a bit better.

It is a dreadfully fascinating field, but not one that is taken terribly seriously, I’m afraid.

I wish you all the best with it. :)

    Kindest regards. :)

  • No I have not but I suppose anything is possible.
Some people believe in these things whilst others do not.
Children do have a tenancy to come out with unexplainable things that some people put down to imagination, I suppose it depends on your own belief.

  • Never heard the term before until now! Personally I don’t really believe in that stuff.

  • I have never heard of that.

  • Not one of my kids have been refered to in this way, but due to google if one one of your kids have talents let them develop them i their own time if they want to… dont rush the process ….

  • No, not a term I’ve heard of. And Dr Google seems to have two different definitions of the term too.

  • I’m sorry, but I’ve never heard the term.

  • Would you or someone be able to explain the term? May help with answers for Indigo child? :)

  • I have a book on this & crystal children both by Doreen Virtue. Whilst I believe in spiritualism, clairvoyance etc I find “the children” thing to be a bit of crock. My eldest ? an indigo but I think its like Dr Google, type or read too much into it & you can convince yourself you have a brain tumour. Once again I think it’s just someone trying to tap into a new age spiritual market by writing a book to line their own pockets with money.
