I know how to use iPhones so I would say iPad for that reason

I have an iPad, don’t know anyone with a Galaxy so I can’t compare. I do love my pad though, very easy to set up and use

Neither! Age 6, they should be outside in the mud and dirt, climbing trees and playing ball. Childhood obesity is on the increase and by encouraging sedate, on the couch activities is not helping.

Neither your kid is 6! Get them some outdoor equipment. If you really need to choose though an iPad is far less advanced and therefore would be easier.

I find a android system allows you more freedom in free apps. With Ipads your restrcited to Itunes and apple which can become pricey.

I think Ipad better for kids because it has great apps for kids, so not just play but also learn.
