Yes, for sure. Mine used to nearly throw themselves off my lap or out of my arms from having tantrums

Sounds like your little on is having a bit of tummy pain or reflux, they don’t really tantrum at 3 months.

Babies that young don’t have tantrums. She probably has reflux. My daughter had reflux and arched her back and screamed a lot. You should see a GP. Alternatively, how often do you put her down to sleep? They can do this when they are overtired too

My LO did that with tummy pain. Turns out she had reflux and a dairy allergy. Same happened to my girlfriends little boy. He still arches and screams when he has dairy and he is 18 mths old. Look into it if u can. It can’t hurt.

Yes my baby has done this since about 2 months old. very normal.

its normal to the extent that that’s what some babies do when they have tummy pains, but yes most kids do writhe around when they cry!

Sounds like wind pain, try some gripe water to see if it relieves your bub. A baby massage is also helpful to relieve trapped gases in their tummies.

I’d get him checked out. It does sound like he’s in pain.

Not sure if it’s normal but my daughter did the same. People just told me she was very strong for such a small baby. It will pass. And another act will take place lol the joys of motherhood.

Frustratingly, I think so! Once they can verbalise their feelings they are better able to share their frustration.

If it is happening often it could be severe colic. If you are worried visit the maternal and child health care nurse, or talk to your gp. It will put your mind at rest. Hope bubs settles down for you soon. I t can be distressing to see our little ones in pain or miserable.

They can do it because of wind pain, reflux, hunger, many things. But it’s not a tantrum. Bub is unhappy about something
