  • i havent taken children on a cruise but ive been on 4 and i think for kids they will love it. Join the kids club, and they will make some great friends. They will love it. Also if there are days you want to spend ogether there are heaps of diff activities everyday (in the newsletter) plus shore tours etc.

  • Pre join them in the kids clubs, I took my 14 and 17 year olds cruising last Christmas and they were busier than us lol. There are discos, pool parties, shore excursions, game nights you name it. It also teaches them to be more independent. Have a blast.

  • Don’t worry there is stacks to do on cruises :)

  • great holiday, there is so much to do for kids, and they will have a ball in the pools alone!

  • Most cruises are very experienced in entertaining kids, 10 and 12 years old is the perfect age too, they will have such a great time!

  • I’ve been on a cruise before an there is so much for kids to do they will love it the is even a kids club, which I don’t think I’ve heard of any kids not loving kids club.

  • They have sdo much entertainment available its ridiculous!

  • My sister took a 8, 10,12, 14 and 15 year old and they had a ball! you have nothing to worry about. They really do look after all ages.

  • Im sure if you look the name of the ship up online you will find all of the different activites listed for the children but i think you should be fine as they work very hard to make sure everyone has a great time.

  • For this age group you will be fine they have activities on board for them to do its bubs that are a problem ! They will probable be so busy you will only see them at meal times

  • Your kids will have a ball there is so much for them to do .And there will probably be other kids on board so they might make some new friends.

  • I think it depends on what type of cruise you have booked. There are many family friendly cruises & most cruise ships that allow children to be booked on that cruise will ensure they have have child friendly & teenage friendly activities. Best to double check with the cruise company you have booked with as they should be able to give you a list of what they will have available. Have fun :)

  • contact the cruise directly and ask them if there is a programme of activities and can they email it to you.

  • Most cruise ships have a floor just for kids i have seen them with indoor rock climbing walls, under 18 discos, games areas and plenty of planned activities,my partners daughter is on one now with her mum and she was so excited about going because there was so much for her to do on board, have fun on your holiday.

  • good luck, but i do think alot of cruise liners do accomodate the families with activities for the kids

  • When I was 12 my parents took the family on a 4 days cruise. It was the best holiday ever. There were just too much to do. Cinemas, swimming, eating yummy food etc…

  • If you booked a P & O cruise, they have kids and teen groups where they do various activities with them depending on their age.
