  • Yes Youtube is what I agree with as well!

  • our local library has a great selection of books for looming.

  • Youtube has heaps of tutorials, my daughter picked it up quickly after watching a few.

  • there are heaps of books around that give instructions but youtube is also great for demonstations

  • Like everyone says or u can join loom bands on facebook. Make sure ur not bending over all the time picking up loose bands. They r everywhere! !!! Its either i tell my kids to pick them up or vacuum cleaner will suck it up!!! Enjoy the rainbows everywhere. Dont get too many packets or ur left with loom bands in dust once the time has worn out.

  • Im just going to repeat what everyone else has said haha YouTube was the best help for us…Look up loombands and click on the tutorial by Mastermind Toys. They are the bees knees when it comes to looming :) Have fun!

  • I got all of my ideas off youtube… There are some great loom band creations on there! Some of them are quite a bit harder but i would just pause the video when needed to ensure i got it right! Good luck!

  • Join the club! I bought a loom band kit for fun! I carried out the instructions to the letter 4 times and after nearly pulling out my hair gave up. My little 6 year old grandson showed me how to make a bracelet using 2 fingers! His sister showed me how to do a beautiful bracelet just using the 3 end pegs of the loom! The secret is that you must twist the first rubber band whichever method you use.. I have now ignored the printed instructions. lol!!! My daughter tried the printed instructions and they did not work for her either!

  • youtube is the way to go. that way you can follow one that you want to make.

  • Youtube is definitely the go! It’s perfect because it’s made for clueless mamas like ourselves (or at least MY self :P) and if your kids are anything like mine – ANY excuse to watch youtube is welcome (Plus you know the content is wholesome entertainment – win win)

  • YouTube has some easy instructions and lots of different patterns! :)

  • You tube has heaps of videos on how to do it!

  • Lincraft have fabulous sheets to help them do lots of the different pattern stitches and then all different projects. You tube is also great for watching how to make different things.

  • Have you looked at any of the tutorials posted on youtube? The kids in my class (6 year olds) have managed to teach themselves by following some of the step by step instructional videos that other people have posted. Plus i’m sure she’ll learn a few tricks from her friends at school.

  • My daughter just goes on utube an watches how to do it that way as they have lots of different ones an great ideas too

  • I’m very proud to say I made my granddaughter an Elsa loom band doll that took me hours following a tutorial online…..but never never again!

  • YouTube, YouTube, YouTube!! My daughter was loomband crazy when it all first started and she would spend hours on YouTube searching for all kinds of things to make with her loombands :) I’m sure your daughter will love it! My mum also bought a book that gives detailed instructions on about 50 different things you can make on a loomband and they range from easy to hard :)

  • Watch YouTube videos on it. There are so many and it’s so amazing what you can make!

  • You Tube!!! It’s the best :) My daughter who is 9 learnt to make a heap of special bracelets and charms etc by watching You Tube videos

  • I could not figure it out from the instructions either. So I watched a step by step tutorial on YouTube! It was actually a 10 year old doing the tutorial she really made what looked so impossible really easy! Goodluck!
