When I cook my mince it always has lumps in it, despite cooking it on a lower temp and ‘chopping’ while cooking it? Please help!

  • I use a wooden spoon and break it up as it cooks. I like lots of good sauce with my mince. Letting it break down further for dishes like bolognese and Tomato & Bacon Mince or curry mince.

  • i always use a wooden spoon to cook mince so i can break them apart easily.

  • Use a large fork to press it down & chopping action will get it lump free.

  • When browning it stir/chop it around like you would with scrambled eggs
You dont want it burnt but a little colour and in bite sized peices…thats how I
Manage to not get lumps in the meat

  • You have to stir it a lot, especially at the start.
