My eldest toilet trained for the night quite soon after she was toilet trained during the day. My son had night time accidents till he was 10 or so. We reduced drinks from late afternoon onwards and walked him to the toilet around 11pm, but still he would have the occasional accident from which we didn’t make a lot of fuzz. My 3rd was toilet trained at 1,5 yr both day and night. And my youngest is 7yr old and has a delay and still uses a pull up in the night.
They’re all different.

I started night time training with my daughter 2 weeks after we did day time training. I would take her to the toilet just before bed and not let her have a drink an hour before bed. I would take her to the toilet roughly 3-4 hours after she fell asleep and she would usually have a dry night. we have been doing this for roughly 3 months and have only had 2 accidents. Good luck.

If very successful in day, try knickers at night. Cut out drinks early evening. Wake to take them about ten or eleven. It might take time at night. Or will work then sometimes goes back to wetting. Good luck.

I’m hoping to get my daughter into wearing her underwear at night soon. She’s really good in the day and has been wearing her underwear when we go out too (as long as we know there’ll be toilets near by) but I’ve had pull ups on her during naps and night still. I feel like she does wee in the pull up in the morning if I don’t get to her quick enough just because she knows she’s wearing a nappy. The way she is, I don’t think she would if she was wearing underwear but I haven’t gotten a protective cover for her bed yet. Going to test it when I do.

When your child wakes in the morning take the nappy of them asap and get them to go to the toilet. If the nappy is dry for a week then ask them if they would like to just have undies on at night and explain to them that if by chance they do have an accident then it doesnt matter because the bed is protected with a plastic sheet.
My first was 3, my 2nd was 6 and my 3rd was 2 and a half

I left the decision entirely up to my daughter. I took her out shopping for “big girl” linen for her bed and then she decided that she did not want to wear pull ups to bed, she was about 2 1/2yrs.

We did day and night time at once just before each of our girls’ 3rd birthdays. With our first we took the following steps – cut down fluid intake from 5:30pm then toilet at 6pm after dinner and before the bath, again at 7pm before bed and 10/11pm when we head to bed and 5/6am when we get up before she wakes. No drinks in bed. As she got the hang of it (which we were lucky and was virtually straight away) we slowly cut back on each of the steps mentioned. The second child we just put her in undies and we are now 3 weeks into training tomorrow without a wet bed. We have two U Sheets (like a pad with wings that we put on the bed on top of the sheets in case. Each child is different and you will find what works.

Totally depends on the child. I did toilet training all at once. Only ever had 2 night time accidents over a few months

My daughter would wet her nappy every night.. So we kept her in them at night. She then said she wanted to stop wearing them at night (about 3 months before her 3rd bday) we just did it and had great success. Very much a mental thing I think. Maybe buy some nice new sheets and remind her not to wet her new sheets

I waited till my Miss 3 had 3 dry nights in her nappy. This was about 3 months ago and we haven’t had an accident. She has just started waking up and needing help going to the toilet, but I am more than happy to get up then change a wet bed! Good Luck

if she is day trained then she probably won’t wet the bed but accidents happen which is fine. you can get those plastic mattress protectors in case you were concerned. if she wees the bed, she will probably wake up which will help her to learn. make sure she doesn’t drink too much about an hour or so before bedtime and also encourage her to use the toilet before going to bed. give her a nightlight so that she can go to the toilet at night. i think that you have her toilet trained so that is the hard job done lol
