I shop online pretty regularly—maybe a few times a month. It’s usually for things like clothes, gifts, or household items that I don’t want to lug home. Grocery shopping online happens now and then too, especially if I’m running low on time. It’s just so convenient, and sometimes you can snag good deals or free shipping codes!
I can’t bring myself to do it because I can’t stand paying for postage.
If it was free or cheap delivery I might do it. Even then I think I prefer seeing and holding items in the flesh
I mainly shop online when it’s for the children’s birthday presents/Christmas presents, also from November to early January I stay away and do online shopping as I have 4 children it’s too stressful to go to the shops!
If I need to do grocery shopping I tend to head to an independent Aldi that isn’t attached to a shopping centre as they aren’t as crazy hectic!????
I buy dog biscuits and products online at Pet Circle. They have a lot to choose from, prices are good and stock is always fresh. Usually buy every couple of months and never had a problem and arrive in about a week. I have purchased some skincare and haircare products once from Priceline when they had a big sale, was a good experience but took a couple of weeks to arrive. I buy my toilet paper from Who Gives a Crap. Very easy, arrives in a week or less and it’s recycled. I don’t want to buy clothes online as I prefer to try them on first. Never done grocery shopping online either.
Not often cos I don’t trust it much. I got a gift card for Rockmans that I just used online. Half of my order arrived but the other half is awol. I tried calling them, emailing them, online chat. Nothing, no reply. I even got on their Facebook page, only to see multiple complaints similar to mine. Not good when your order doesn’t arrive yet you can’t get in touch with anyone to answer your questions. Exactly why I avoid online shopping
Online shopping for me is SOOOOO much easier then having to drag two toddlers around. I even do the weekly grocery shop online and just click and collect. It’s so much less stressful and I don’t end up filling a trolley full of pointless stuff.
Well here’s a strange turn of events after saying I don’t shop online much ….actually thinking seriously about purchasing a couple of cellular blankets online (they are not available from my local store) delivery is $11 so I guess with getting them on a super special and not having to pay petrol to collect them it’s not that bad.
I only shop online for items I can’t get within a 20min drive away (I live in Melbourne suburbs) or if it is second hand furniture I am wanting. I hate waiting for items to be delivered and have had items go missing before. I have tried online grocery shopping, but I don’t like the feeling of being held at the house while waiting for the delivery.
I am not a huge online shopper and do not purchase cloths or shoes online unless I have tried them on in a store first (would hate for them not to fit and have to go to the bother of returning them) I also prefer to do grocery shopping in store.
