I think it just depends on who you come across at any given time. Generally I find people pleasant.

Yep. I think people just don’t have time to be nice anymore. Also I think they’re scared of being nice in some situations as there’s too many crazy drug affected individuals out there to hurt and rob and steal

I think I agree with you. One of my peeves is birthday cards. If I send you one, would it kill you to acknowledge it? Sure, ‘it’s only a card’ but I took the time to think of you, buy it, write in it and post it…the least you can do is acknowledge it. Or when you invite people to a do and they can’t come, but they don’t even bother with a card! Grrrr

Being a so called ‘regular’ is no excuse for rude behaviour. He should have been told to wait! I ignore/do not respond until people use manners.

I’m wondering if it’s just that I’m getting older and I’m now more conscious of good manners and consideration for others because I’m attempting (?!) to instil them in my children. Truth be told, I think people have always been rude, we just notice it more.
