Hello!

I am in my 40’s & have recently lost a lot of weight & my skin is a little saggy in certain areas. I use bio oil however, wondering if any MoM’s know of anything else that could help. Do you know any products to help sagging skin?

  • surgery im afraid is probably the best way to go

  • Oil of Uland is a quality product that really works

  • There are so many differnt types of answers to this from surgery to non invasive to food talk to your doctor that is your best option

  • Yes a personal trainer could put you on the right path and it would save all the guess work for you.

  • i want to try it works, but i am also in the process of tonig through yoga/ gym and learning how to do weights, topically atm i alternate between bio oil, coconut oil, special mothers blend (almond oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter and jojoba oil)

  • drink skim milk and exercise those areas and unless they loss is a lot it should help you

  • Try asking a personal trainer. They can tell u excersizes to help tone n build the muscle in areas u need it.

  • Great question, thanks for posting this! I was wondering aswell 🙂

  • It will be a long process but I think exercising is the key to firming up

  • Unfortunately the only solution will probably be plastic surgery. I lost more than 1/2 my body weight after undergoing a gastric bypass and can tell you that there is no magic potion or lotion or even exercise that will repair our skin 🙁

  • unfortunately there is not a product which actually gets rid of saggy skin they can only temporary mask the appearance.

  • As purplecoffee said exercise it great as well

  • I’ve never come across a cream that helps sagging skin. The best way to treat sagging skin in my experience is exercise and weight training. 🙂

  • Palm’s Cocoa Butter cream helps me

  • I have tried all different lotions and potions… Weight training has been the best!

  • You need to exercise and tone yourself up!:)

  • Congrats on the weight loss!! My girlfriend used the body wraps through her weight loss and continues them now and she looks awesome, bio oil is good for small areas. I hope surgery isn’t a necessary option.

  • Toning exercises are great and even if you aren’t hugely a fan of exercise u can still do yoga toning which is great exercise but not to vigorous

  • Have just experienced that same thing…lost a lot of weight and now certain body parts just aren’t what and where they used to be! Got told that’s called ‘ageing’. Huh. Not happy that the rest of the advice is there’s not much you can do about it. Good on the weight loss for you though…know how hard it is to achieve.

  • good work on the weight loss, but the only long term fix without surgery is tightning exercises or even some pilates and yoga are good low stress ways.
