How about a girly pamper day? Do your nails, wash and style hair, make up, nail painting. Just a suggestion, some mums aren’t into this for young girls, but it is fun

indoor treasure hunts are fun. making your own board game like snakes and ladders passes time and then you have fun playing it. easy to do you need to draw up some large squares and they can number them and drawer the ladder and snakes and colour them in then play the game!

At 6 and 8, they would probably appreciate an indoor pamper day. Just sit indoors making facials or painting nails with their mumma!

Get some boxes from a local store and build a princess castle or shop front….Decorate and paint… Then costumes and role play …….

My daughter loves to play with a whole packet of dried pasta. I put it in a bowl give her some muffin dishes,ice block trays spoons and measures and she plays for ages at “cooking”.

Playing dress ups, making sun catchers, jewellery are always fun.

We love sitting down with lots of beads and making our own jewellery. Very fiddly and time consuming but the girls loves the outcome and that they have made it themselves.

A cute idea a friend did was make a book… So they picked a theme (like seasons or a well-known story) and did a page every so often. The mum wrote out each line of the story on a piece of paper and they girls decorated and created the pictures. Some pages had paint, others stickers, others glitter, so they weren’t all the same.
