The only way I have found to do it other than with a brush is to pop clothes in the dryer!

My old washing machine was great at removing lint, it seemed to catch it all and then I would just clean out the lint filter every now and again. Newer machines don’t seem to have lint filters and it just stays on the wash.

I find if there is an accident and i ve put a tissue in the wash or something like that then i just put the clothes through the dryer and that seems to remove it all.

Emptying pockets, washing clothes inside out & washing like colours together helps keep our laundry lint free.

Empty pockets – keep washing machine lint filter clean, do this regularly. Run a empty wash with vinegar and water to remove built up scum.

I use one of the pet hair remover rollers, they are great for bits of tissue that go through the wash.

I get this too. Use the sticky rollers or battery lint shavers. My mum just literally shaves things with a razor. LOL

I get this problem every time I forget to check my husband’s pockets for tissues. We use a lot of the lint rollers with adhesive stickers on them, but I find the dryer will pull most of it off if it’s particularly bad.

I use a conditioner/softener in my rinse cycle. This helps to prevent it a bit. Putting clothes in the dryer also helps get rid of some of it.

I always put my washing into different loads and do not mix anything that may cause this

Fabric softeners help reduce lint sticking to washing, but separating fluffy loads reduces the problem.
