Absolutely! This unacceptable. Permission; in the form of a signed consent form is required for any movie or footage above a G rating. I suggest you make the school aware of their obligations! They also need to explain in a form the reason for watching a movie or footage; the educational purpose. Sorry; this is horrible for you and your little person.

That is a strange, I have never heard of kids being shown a video about war at 3 before normally they are watching kids shows. I would be speaking to them.

I think you should have been asked to sign a consent form allowing your child to watch graphic material.
