  • I agree, you can follow and trust babies lead .
Best baby-led weaning foods for 6- and 7-month-olds

Baked or steamed sweet potato strips.
    Steamed carrot strips.
    Thick avocado slices.
    Thick banana slices.
Thick mango or melon slices (peeled)
    Steamed broccoli or cauliflower florets.
    Toast strips.
    Plain Greek yogurt.

  • Every child is different. Follow your babies leads.

  • Breakfast, lunch and tea with some small snacks if they seem hungry. I was still doing a breast feed at this age too

  • At 7 months, bub should be having 3 meals a day plus snacks. If they’re not eating this much, could it be because you’re still giving numerous bottles? Food for a 7 month old is easy. More or less what you eat, with no added sugar or salt. I cook up pots of mixed veggies and stew fruit, then I freeze in meal size portions

  • Mine were having 3 meals a day at 7 months. Snacks were fruit, veggies, yoghurt. Definitely should be on regular solid meals at 7 months

  • So many great simple foods to start with when feeding solids… best thing i did was NOT mix foods to start with!

  • You just go with the flow! Bananas and avocadoes is a good start!

  • I believe that there is no should or should not. if ur baby will take solids then its time. if not then try every couple of days just to.keep ur babys options open.

  • you can start now. just try a bit of cereal in the morning.

  • Start with naturally soft foods like avocado and banana

  • How did go with starting solids?

  • i started on farex :)

  • I think it depends on the child… mine was a little piggy some days and didn’t very much at all other days.

  • Start of with farex and go from there.

  • My daughter didn’t want solids until about 8 months old and when she did want it I started on farex with breastmilk

  • Yes, I think solids would be advisable at this age.

  • Hope some of the advice below has helped.

  • At least two to three times a day she should be having something.

  • Any vegie just mash or puree

  • Very Slowly try to iintroduce solids,
