I never was sweating a lot till I hit the menopause. Having the menopause behind me I now sweat directly when I’m active.

I would check with a GP as you may triggered by hormones. There are a lot of antiperspirants in the market now and they keep making items better quality etc….so maybe buy a really good antiperspirant and see how you go .

If this is unusual for you; I would suggest; you go and see your GP to discuss it further.

some people just run hotter. try exercise and get a physical but it could be related to menopause

maybe it’s hotter in your part of aus!

after about a week of exercise and sweating heaps, something in your brain kicks in and you start to sweat less

is this just recent for you, are you suffering stress etc? maybe this might be making you warmer than usual. I suggest you go to doctor just for a general check up and I’m sure doc will reassure all is okay 🙂

do you take any medications? im on an antidepressant that causes me bad sweats and i to wear a singlet all day and sleep on towels.

You should go to the doctor and be checked but for now id stop with spray deodorants (if you use them) and use roll ons helped me with sweat issues.

I think if it were me i would go to the doctors and ask for some blood test to be done.

Off you pop to the GP. It could be anything from menopause to thyroid to a fever.

I never used to sweat at all and now my hair gets wet from it, I think it is hormonal. I have never asked a dr though

some people just sweat more than others. I know I do so I just pace myself when I am doing chores.

Lots of reasons why some people sweat a lot or more than others: Caffeine can make you sweat more, smoking, overweight, alcohol, the amount of sweat glands you have and there’s also a condition that makes for excessive sweating.

Why don’t you have a chat to your GP, hope you find some relief.

You might have over active glands…talk to your dr about it if it bothers you
