  • We bought storage cabinets that match our furniture, they have books and puzzles and other little toys in them. I put a picture or paintings on top of them and a vase of flowers or other decor. We also have 3 toy baskets. 1 in the play room, 1 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom. But we are planning on getting storage draws from Ikea because we keep accumulating more even though I pack toys away every month.

  • I’ve some great storage units with slide in tubs from Ikea, which I think are great.

  • Again – storage! Use storage boxes which you can get cheap from lots of places and or a bookshelf up against one wall. Have a table and chairs or easel at other end and maybe a rug – train tracks or road? Kids can go nuts and storage boxes make easy to pack all away

  • Storage boxes and toyboxes help free up space.

  • Fun storage containers help and the best part is it helps with putting toys away.

  • Less is more in this case kids get overwhelmed in tight spaces ie rooms. Nothing wrong with a table and chairs in one corner a toy box in the other and a play mat in the middle.

  • Kmart has lots of kids furniture at reasonable prices for kids rooms and toy rooms

  • Lots of storage! Lots of easy accessible toys and lots of colour are my tips
