Hello!

My 14 month old is waking up every two hours or so at night! I know it’s the cold waking her up but I am struggling to keep her happy! She goes to bed in a terry towel onesie with a vest underneath and in a sleep sack with her blanket on top. Two hours later she has no blankets and got out of the sleep sack, so I put her in it again blankets back on tuck her in and she busts out again two hours later this goes on until about 7 am when it warms up again and she sleeps better what shall I do?

  • she must be kicking them off because she is getting too hot, try having less on her until it gets really cold

  • I used to dress my children as if they had no sheets etc. This meant that they were usually in flanelette pyjamas early with only a very light covering because I didn’t want to have to keep going into their rooms and re-tucking them in.

  • I used Wombies with my son & it was a godsend. I highly recommend them 😀

  • Definitely agree with everyone else about the sleeping bag

  • Sheep skin to sleep on and a long sleeve sleeping bag.Good luck.

  • I always had mine in a long sleeved sleeping bag also I had fleecy lined onesies. I had one that always had his blankets off and found he had asthma at 5 weeks old so I swear by these

  • Bonds make a sleeping bag with sleeves and it can be layered under other sleep sacks ect for extra warmth. Getting up every two hours, you must be so exhausted!

  • I Would Go With A Sleeping Bag, My Little Loved Hers, Good Luck

  • Big W and Target both stock sleeping bags with sleeves. Also, check the rating of your current bag – you might need a warmer one.

  • try and find a sleeping bag with sleeves it might help. could you try and heat the room with a heater for a few hours before bed(don’t leave on through the night)?

  • Eeni Meeni Minni Moh (I think that’s right) use to have a sleeping bag for kids that had long sleeves on it, it made it hard to get out of, my son use to have one and loved it. do some research on the sleeping bags because a good one they shouldn’t be able to get out of and if you put adequate clothing on underneath then you won’t need a blanket.
