  • I find it hard to remove stubborn fat on my body,
But I found eating as much whole foods as you can helped me and processed sometimes
Really helped shake the kilos off me
Another one is counting your steps a day aiming for 10000 steps a day

  • I cant recommend Lose baby weight any higher! they are amazing and the support groups available help so much!

  • Everything I’ve read in Boosting your Metabolism seems to work (there are lots of similar books and websites with information on this). eg AVOIDING all refined flours (no white bread, use wholemeal pasta, brown rice etc.), to making sure you drink enough water. Try and build muscle, eat protein not fats and carbs etc. . I never realized just how important fibre is or the ‘whole’ part of wholewheat flour in aiding digestion. And no soft drinks. Getting your food intake right is almost more important than exercising to try and burn off excess calories. I think swimming also helps deal with tummy fat.. but you have to work, there are no short cuts, and it takes time. Probably google exercises specific for the stomach. You could be suffering from excess skin too if you were ever pregnant. I recommend creams for this to tighten skin.

  • Hi I am a mum of 3 and it’s not easy loosing weight. I would recommend using X50 Greent tea to assist you with your weight lost aswell as reduce your carb intake. Reduce the amount of food you would normally take, as an example, I used to eat 2 toast in the morning I cut into 1… and don’t skip meal.

  • Everything in moderation. To help with this, ask yourself each time – am I really hungry, do I need this? Also try and move more, even if that is housework or gardening.

  • I’m in a similar situation. I have trekked eating healthy 2/3 of the time and drinking lots of water. Unfortunately there is no extra time for exercise with four children. Good luck on your mission

  • Hi Ladies, i’m 34 mum of a 3 year old after i had him it was hard to lose weight, i went from being 60 kg to 80 kg when i was diagnosed with lactose intolerance i changed my way of eating and dropped 10kg without exercise and i have kept it off, i am looking at losing more but after my second child which i am planning on having in about a years time. i would suggest changing the food you eat first try swaping your butter, milk, cheese, yoghurt with the alternative which is dairy free, cut out sweets from the shops and make your own also cut down on bread it will make a difference.

  • I’m also interested in losing some weight and am finding it extremely difficult. I thinks it’s a matter of trying things to see what works.

  • I’ve just started the Keto-genic diet. All recipes you can find online (search keto recipes) and last time I done it, I lost 9 kgs in 3 weeks just by changing eating habbits and drinking more water. My favourite website for it is ruledme.com. Good luck :-)

  • Breastfeeding is what worked for me! However if you are past that I would recommend a combination of healthy diet and exercise, focussing on your core – ie. something cardio 2-3x per week (take the kids/dog/something for a walk, build up to a jog and then a run when you’ve got some more strength in those legs), yoga/pilates 2-3x per week as it strengthens your core and is great for your overall health – mental and physical, and then i would do some good old sit ups/crunches and lunges whilst watching tv of an evening :)

  • Firstly don’t stress about it. When I stress about weight loss it doesn’t seem to happen. Cut out the “crap” foods on a day to day basis but allow yourself to have a treat every now and then. Don’t eat at night (close to bed). Drink lots of water (or cordial because it’s better then soft drink). If possible walk instead of driving (also better for the budget).

  • I started the LCHF (Low Carb High Fat) way of eating last January, I had about 18kgs that I wanted to banish for good and as of today I have lost roughly 12kgs. I lost my way over Christmas and just started to get back into it. This is not a diet it is a lifestyle change and I have never felt better. It is different for everybody that eats this way, but for me I noticed changes in how my clothes fit in about 6 weeks, I also had more energy and some of my health problems were getting a lot better. I think the more weight you have to loose the quicker you notice the changes and it does encourage you to keep going. These words “If you think about it … They feed cows grain to fatten them up” are words that changed my life … I thought yeah that is true … so my first step was to stop eating bread and flour and I just went on from there. I better stop writing lol My advice do your own research about LCHF and the benefits and see if it right for you.

  • Food often serves a purpose more than just nutrition. Like a glass of wine to celebrate, a cup of coffee to relax… So if you have any food you are having trouble giving up that isn’t great for loosing weight; figure out what purpose it serves (like what emotion you’re escaping from such as boredom) then find a good substitute. So hummus and carrot sticks instead of chips for a boredom food… Or one coffee during the day replaced wig hot water with lemon honey for something warm and soothing. Blueberries for an afternoon sweet fix. Stopping some habits altogether may be too hard so try alter them slightly instead. Good luck!

  • Swimming is also good and easier on the body – maybe try swimming?

  • Walking, eating well and being active.

  • That can be the hardest part to lose weight from – planks and good posture make a huge difference but also cardio workouts are important. Walking, running , swimming etc should all help – I’m not sure if you are doing this already but a couple of times a week is optimal.

  • I read a article on ‘Planking to keep fit’ and I am trying this method for the next few months. I started with 20 seconds then 30 then 40 etc. I can now plank for 5 minutes at a time. This helps with stomach muscle strengthening. The basic Plank is a great core stabilization exercise for people of all fitness levels. I also walk a lot. I take a walk to the local post office and back then I walk to the local petrol station and back. Just find a destination and walk there and back as a routine. You will lose the weight. Best of luck, and good health.

  • As you get older it is harder to shed the kilos and it is easier to pile them on. I think you just have to be more careful about what you put in your mouth and avoid sugar.

  • Try not to make too many changes at once, set realistic goals that you can track, take it slow and steady and reward your achievements.

  • Try and drink water as often as you can. Reduce your sugar instake. Excercise regularly. Walk is great excercise
