12 months

I think I waited till 12 months too.

I was bought up on cooled boiled water all my life because my mother never trusted taps. However , I was told by the obstretcian when I was pregnant , I should drink tap water because it has more fluoride in it . The problem was I had no filter and was told by plumbers not to drink from our taps so I was totally confused . I think in some way it did affect my childrens teeth so not sure about this one till now .

After 12mths is my understanding

I started with just little bits from the age of 1.

to build up my kids’ immune systems, i gave them tap water from the age of 6 months

17 months. I stopped stressing. Try to filter it as much as possible but she stuffs everything in her mouth i felt it was ok

I swapped my son to filtered tap water at 6 months, and he will be two in a few weeks and he has tap water (though I prefer to use filtered in my area). I chose to do it at 6 months because he was having less bottles (formula) so I figured anything in the water would be too tiny to do anything anyway. hope it helps

I started to give my daughter tap water when she was around a 1 year old

second child been getting tap water straight from 6 months. I hope that was ok

I waited until she was drinking cows milk which was around 1 year mark.

I waited until 12 months as advised by my maternal health nurse

Like others have said, I waited until my babies were 12 months too.

I started at 12 months with my first and like a lot of mothers not quite as fussy with the next two, we are so lucky in this country to have really good drinking water, you see ads on tv with world vision and save the children and look at the water the poor things are drinking, so feel happy to give them tap water from 12 months on.

We have a water filter on our tap and our kids have had that since about 6 months.
