Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good shampoo/conditioner that combats brassy tones from blonde foils please. What are the best products for blonde hair with brassy tones?

  • I hope you found something useful

  • blue cypress it smells so nice and makes your hair soft

  • Some useful answers there below.

  • Agree with the other ladies, purple shampoo!

  • purple shampoo is great! can never go wrong

  • I think the L’Oreal Professional purple shampoo & conditioner is the best. I really like all their products actually.

  • I used to use the Schwartzkopf one from hairhouse whatehouse that had a purple base to it before switching to delorenzo based on popular opinion from people in the know that it was the better of the two. Delorenzo is fantastic and I have never looked back. It is in the silver shampoo range and comes in a purple bottle. Although it seems expensive at between $20-30 a bottle it actually isn’t too bad as one bottle lasts for ages. With this product I wouldn’t use it anymore than once maybe twice a week at a stretch as it can be drying but is the best as I have very brassy tones.

  • Check out the whole range dedicated to blondes in the John Frieda hair care.

  • I found blue cypress to work well back when i was a blondie!

  • again not a shampoo and some people dont like it but I mixed a type of purple based horse shampoo (you can get it from horse land and large pet shops) with my normal shampoo and then conditioned really well. Its meant for horses coarse manes and tails and lifts brassy tones like crazy (its usually used on white horses just before they go to show)

  • Ask at your local hairdressers

  • Great question, thanks for posting this! I was wondering aswell 🙂

  • Not a shampoo as such, but I would suggest Blue Cypress oil.

  • The Paul Mitchell range is great for blondes

  • You could ask your hairdresser what they recommend.

  • Am hoping you found something that you could use.

  • Go to price attack and get some blonde shampoo and conditioner.

  • My sister has those kind of tones in her hair. She sticks with Tresemme hair products.

  • blue cypress is good and and smells great

  • I have blonde hair & find that purple shampoo & conditioner eliminates brassy tones although can dry out hair. My hair is already dry & after trying a few I must say I like John Frieda products. I use these purple products every second wash.
