Hello!

I have an 11 month old daughter, I don’t have my drivers licence so I walk EVERYWHERE, I’m looking for a 3 wheeler pram/stroller, with:

  • a big basket
  • all terrain
  • preferably max priced at $300
  • has a seat bar (she loves to pull up and sit forward leaning on it)
  • preferably has a parent caddy for (drink, phone, etc)
  • has a single bar brake
  • and an adjustable handle

Please help I have no idea what’s best and sick of buying a new pram/stroller every couple of months I want one that will last our very active lifestyle. Thanks. xo

  • Your baby is already 11 months old and you’re just now asking for pram advice! Get yourself into a baby furniture store and check some out

  • I would go to your local baby shop and ask them, they should now all the specification of each pram and also be able to give you suggestions if there is no pram that fits all your requirements.

  • first off 3 wheel prams are trendy but not safe the tip over very easily with little one inside and the best way to find the perfect pram without blowing the budget is op shops like salvos and life line and guide dogs and endos and any other that happen to be in your area also check gumtree and any local sales facebook pages in your area and ebay can be your best friend also

  • When I was pregnant I was still on my L’s so we went looking for a pram that would be good for lots of walking and going off road while at the rugby as my partner plays on weekends. The pram we ended up with was a Mountain Buggy + One, as we intended to have a second child. It was expensive but they have a large range to choose from.

The only issue I’ve had is that occasionally a tire or inner tube has had to be replaced or repaired. Spare parts can be ordered from their website.

My son is now two and I’m on my P’s so we don’t use it quite so much, but a very good option that we have been quite happy with.

You maybe able to find something on ebay.

  • Checkout Gumtree, stax there!

  • The city mini is fantastic and so is the Beema Swallow (though it doesn’t have all of the things on your check list!).
Do try and go to a pram warehouse to try them all out first before making a decision, some that we wanted and ticked all our boxes weren’t all that flash in the “flesh” so to speak!!

  • you could try looking for mountain buggy swift second hand i have one and is my fav i picked mine up for $250 in great condition and love it :)

  • I would check out your local facebook and gumtree pages as you can get a better pram for less $$. The city is meant to be good. You can get an attachment parent caddy to use also.

  • I have the city mini select and love it.
You can get lots of extras for it and the best thing about it it is only 7kg in weight and can be collapsed by using only one hand.
We also found this pushchair to be the only one that had the hood that nearly covered the whole of the seat so when our son is it in the only part exposed to the sun is the bottom of his legs and feet its great i love it.

  • Toys r us have a great selection might reach $300 mark

  • Hi I’m not sure which one but http://www.bubhub.com.au has reviews on 3 wheel strollers and google is also your friend, good luck!

  • I don’t know which one will be the best but check out gumtree for a great second hand one maybe?
