My mum made sure we never went without. We weren’t spoilt and didn’t have lots of anything, but we got all we needed. I think that’s more then enough

This question was posted on my mother’s birthday …. I remember her smile, her voice, her optimism. I miss her so much.

Capturing my father’s fart in a jar to make a trap for Santa at Christmas when I was young. My parents separated when I was 9 so is a nice memory of when we were a happy family.

I loved watching my mum reading golden books to my spoils older brother. We still laugh at it now.

My mum was always running around, being busy. But her heart was for her family, her kids.

Also to be brave and adventurous! 🙂

A love of good things – food, cooking, fun times and all good things.

I will always remember her trying to make a lady out of a tomboy. Ballet lessons, deportment lessons, photo shoots for tv and modelling. and ballroom dance lessons. But alas, it didn’t take. Although I am grateful for the deportment and ballroom dancing. She loved me, and did her best to be a good mother. I learnt a lot from her and I love her always. love to all Lyn
