  • lots of jobs can now be done from home…but if you are looking for a job where you don’t have to put the kids somewhere like daycare, then you have to be picky. however there are now some call centres where people are working from home. You could do a couple of hours in the evening when your partner comes home or after kids go to bed

  • After Covid quite a lot of jobs can be done from home !

  • I do surveys and that adds up slowly

  • Depending on your skills you could register on sites such as Freelancer and Upwork. You need to be competitive with pricing and good at what you do to be awarded jobs but you can pretty much work around your family.

  • Some of the party plans you can do on the computer

  • I do ironing from home. It’s not a lot of money but it’s something for me to do and gives me a bit of ‘pocket money’! I charge $2.50 per item and an extra $5 for pickup/delivery.

  • If you are competent PC user there are plenty of Virtual Assistant Jobs. Work around the kids. Making phone bookings, typing, data entry etc. You might like to get out and about Mystery Shopping and reporting back your findings. Taste Testing and being paid is a great job these all add up and you will have a lot of variety.

  • Avon is a good way to earn a bit extra. My mum used to look after people’s kids and also took in other people’s ironing. I have knitted jumpers for a gift shop
