Hello!

This is my little one’s first Christmas and I’ve made her an Advent calendar of different Christmas books to open and read each day. We will recycle these books each year as a fun family tradition. Interested to hear what sort of advent calendar you have in your house this year?

  • theres a storybook one from kmart thats super cute !

  • We went with the simple chocolate ones this year. I really like the book ones which we will probably do next year when our little are that bit older

  • No advent calendars however still trying to do one Christmas thing a day leading up to the big day.

  • My amazing Mum made a crochet advent calendar for my kids. No lollies this year which is awsome and the kids love it.

  • Individualised ones are fun because they can be personalised with all sorts of funs bits and not only sweet treats. Your imagination can run wild when you create your own advent calendars.

  • the Harry Potter Funko Calendar – I get a mini Funko pop a day!

  • We have the trolli gummi advent calendar and also do the 12 “books of christmas” I just wrap 12 chrismassy books and we open and read one a night on the lead up to xmas..

  • There’s a story book one at kmart, so good for kids

  • We went with the Trolli Gummi Advent because of allergies (for the kids) . Myself I would have loved one from Gewürzhaus Spices in the Strand Arcade Sydney but it wasn’t to be lol

  • I haven’t done advent calendars in a long time

  • We have our own fabric advent calendars and place treats/gifts in the individual pockets.

  • We just do a regular chocolate one 🙂
