In our family, during during days, my daughter (11 years old) she must be on bed by 8 pm. 7:45 pm time to brush her teeth. She might not sleeping by 8 pm but she must be in her room and try her best to sleep.
Some times low iron makes us so tired. Best to have a check up with your local Gp to see whats going on. I must admit though I can’t stay up any longer than 9.30 depending on what type of day I’ve had.
No matter how much i try but by the time i clean kitchen, watch a little tv and have a cup of milk it gets 11:00 so i end up sleeping late always though really want to sleep early so i can be fresh but never happens
I would love to be jumping into bed by 7:30pm every night just like I did when I was a child and fatcat would go down. But my 2 little fatcats wont go down so its more like 9/9:30 for me.
Really depends on what sort of day I’ve had but usually about 9:30. If you’re tired all the time and think you’re getting enough sleep maybe go get tested by your GP. I was tired all the time for no reason a few years ago and turned out I had an under active thyroid.
Beyond tired! Between 11 & 12 here. Would love to go to bed earlier but doesn’t matter how organised I am and how early I get tea organised I can’t. There always something that needs to be done. Or I enjoy my me time and peace and quiet once the kids have gone to bed. And I always regret it the next day!
Keep listening to you body and if you need to go to bed early then do so. I am a bit of a night owl, but unfortunately my kids are up super early and so I am too. I love the early mornings, but along with a late night, it makes for a really long day. i find i really enjoy the nights though as they are my only down time. If you are happy to go to bed early, then I think that is a great idea as they say the hours of sleep you get before midnight are often the best.
Your a mom so only natural you get tired by night time. I would suggest a good check up at doctors and if all is OK then down your tools and say nightie night the same time as the littlies. Best wishes to you.
I seem to go to bed at 2000 hrs (8 O’clock). This time is good for me as I tend to take awhile to settle. I seem to think of stupid things than next I know it’s 10 pm ,so by going early I at least get 6 to 8 hours in the time I am in bed.
I find that once your body gets into a nice routine, it likes to stick to it. It’s actually really beneficial to have the same bedtime routine (sleep and wake time).
My partner and I are in bed by 7 and wake up for work at 4am. We don’t even need an alarm anymore
When mine had 4 hourly feeds I would go to bed about 8.30. I would either just relax or have some sleep before the next feed. That way I didn’t suffer as much with sleep deprivation. Some days I also had a short nap while baby was asleep during the say – often while waiting for the washing machine to finish a load. Our GP recommended it as our baby colic and reflux and it was sometimes hard to settle her.
I go to bed at around 10pm and wake up at 6:30am. You could get your Iron levels checked, I got really fatigued when I had low Iron and low Thyroid function.
I had to change my ‘bed time’ because I was always tired. So now, instead of going to bed after 10pm, I make sure I’m in bed (and hopefully asleep) by 9-9.30pm. I usually wake up about 5am, so that ensures I get 7-8 hours sleep!
