Nothing wrong with bub in your room, but portacots have no safety ratings and can be quite dangerous, especially long term. So l would say move her asap.

My daughter was in bassinet for 2 months in our room then in cot in our room til 10 months. In her own room from 10 months.

I moved my daughter from cradle in our room to cot in her own room at four months of age.

Babies can be in there own room from day they are born. Babies should remain in a cot until they are at least old enough to climb onto their own bed unassisted.

from six weeks we moved to a cot only because she got so big!

With my first child I waited until she was 12 weeks old. Now I am going to do again with my baby number two.
It is not easy for me as I get very worried but I think it is a good time to change that you can have the couple privacy and also better to do it before the child understands and don’t want to go.

We moved our son into his own room at around 7 months. But with my daughter I moved her into her own room at 3 months.

We didn’t have the room to move our daughter out of our room til she was in a bed,Nat about age 2. My son was a sook,miso even though he had his own room, he still spent a lot of time in our room :/ Work with it, try something, if it doesn’t work, switch back. It’s all about finding what works for you

I moved my son in to his cot when he was around 6 months, mainly because he was getting to big for his bassinet and I think he was ready, I would put him in his cot during the day for naps so it wasn’t a strange place when we moved him. But I mean it’s up to you , I waited until I was ready for him to sleep in another room, in all honestly at first I wasn’t all to keen but you get used to it , so there is no set age it’s when your ready.

Ours went in their cot in their own room right from when they came home. Night time feeds were in their rooms with a dimmer light in the passage that gave just enough light for us to be able to see what we were doing. Sometimes nappy change but no feed needed. Fussy baby didn’t like soiled nappy and would wake up.

I moved her there immediately when she was born. She was sleeping in her bedroom and when she woke up in the middle of the night I went to feed her there, on the rocking chair, and then moved her to the small cot in our bedroom for the rest of the night.
The night before turning 2 months old she started to sleep 10 hours in a row per night, so there was no more need to have the extra cot in our bedroom, because she was sleeping all night in her bedroom in her own bed.

We moved our bubs around 3 months. He was sleeping in a bassinet in our room. We slowly moved him into his cot by starting with days sleeps in it (for a week or so) then moved to all sleeps there after.

With my first daughter we used a cradle and it was between 2-3 months then moved into a cot into her own room, with my second/third twin daughters we used a cot right from the beginning. It was easier and they shared a cot for the first 12 months
