Hello!

Very curious when in this stormy snowing weather, what time of day do you bath your babies? Morning, afternoon or night ? I find it cold all through out the day so not sure when to bath my son? Thanks in advance. When is the best time to bath babies when it’s cold?

  • I bath mine in the evening then i snuggle them up in their pjs, sleeping bag, blankets and have quiet time with the heater on before bed time

  • Just before I got put of hospital I actually asked one of the nurses that question . I remembered she suggested to do it in the morning with the heater on . If however the baby gets extra dirty such as dirtying the nappy or vomiting , then I do it after with the heater on and hopefully its early in the evening and not late at night . Of course babys timing can be funny.

  • I bath at night, we normally have heating on in the house if it is cold

  • I bath my little one in the evening, afterwards wrap tightly in a towel, and get her quickly into her room which was heated.

  • We bathe our Naughties in our ensuite and have the heater on in our room, we bathe them just before bed and feed etc in the warmth of their room. We don’t have heating right through the house and this works for us!

  • What time did you end up bathing at?

  • what did you decide on?

  • Work out a time that suits you and works to your routine.

  • We always bath in the morning and have the bedroom all nice and warm to dress her and a heat lamp in the bathroom to keep her warm.

  • What did you end up doing?

  • Maybe put a heater in the bathroom so its actually warm before you bath the baby

  • I agree, heat the room they will be dressed in and be careful to dry his/her hair well.

  • Heat the room where you will be dressing them in, I would bath during the day.

  • I hope you found the time when its best to bath your baby

  • Heat the bathroom up. Warm up some towels. Best time is when the sun is out

  • I would heat the room with a heater 1st and then I would bath bub around 1 if I was home. I would then give them a wipe over before bed do the are as settled as possible.

  • Using a heater would be a good idea. Depending on how old your bub is, I didn’t bath mine every day for the first couple of months, usually every second or third day.

  • I find the afternoon is best or even just after lunch cab be good. So long as you pop the heater on the house should be nice and warm for the little one afterwards.

  • Morning or midday but not at night this works for me. Also if. You know you are going to go out do it when you return.

  • anytime that suits you :) maybe chuck on a heater and really warm it up prior
