That’s actually a really good question. I have never though of that!

We take our daughter to swimming lessons on either a Saturday or a Sunday. I have found that there are heaps of dads in these particular classes as it is the best time for those who work to attend.
So hubby can meet other dads and bub can learn a valuable skill! Win win

The pub? Lol joking! Maybe try and find out if there’s a dads groups in your area, I’ve heard they’re becoming more common. Or if you’re in a mums group or playgroup see if you can meet up with some of the ladies and their hubbies/ partners outside of work hours

My partner plays football on a Saturday with a lot of other fathers, he actually wasn’t expecting to meet any but has meet quiet a few

In WA a lot of the local councils have specially set up Fathers playgroups and some are even held on Saturdays to accommodate working dads. The local library has free sessions and my hubby found he spoke with others there who put him in touch with other dads.

There are special dads groups at community centres here in SA

There are a few Dad’s playgroups out there, also he could take baby to swimming classes on the weekend, there tends to be more Dad’s in the weekend classes.

The Park is normally good I find there is other dads there too

I’d start a dads group up, ask at your playgroup to see if other dad are interested, Start with a barbie at the park with bubs, then go from there.

I agree the local swimming centre of where there is a kids water play centre. The other thing is during the school year they have lots of night concerts where you can make sure dad is present. Taking the kids to the playground lots of dads there too. What about searching for one of those men’s shed things. I believe they are a group of men that get together to socialise something like the Freemasons I think

How about Church of a Sunday morning? Then there are all the groups associated with the particular church, a whole support/social structure under one roof Good for all of you!
I sent my hubby off surfing, now I lose him for a couple of hours EVERY day to surfing, that’s ok – it’s with all the local guys, so it’s social. Penrith might be a bit far, but I’m sure there’s a sport he did in his pre baby life that he could re take up with some encouragement. Good luck.

At my grandsons playgroup they meet sometimes for a BBQ on a Sunday so the dads can all come.

at parks on the weekends, have BBQ with your playdate friends and their families….

Try looking for a Facebook support group in your area and my partner who is my girls stap dad always meet other days at the park on Sunday Morming when he takes her out while I clean the floors

I found the one place where you see lots of dads is at swimming centres.
This must be the dads job.lol
