  • I go to the dollar shops.
If they’re too plain you can give it your own handmade touch by decorating them, which will make it even more special when gifting.

  • Online or from Kmart

  • I had to buy an important frame for an occasion so l went to a photo shop but normally gift shops have a great range that look good.

  • Lots of good answers here. Antique stores can have beautiful frames.

  • many of the newsagents and gift stores have a range of photo frames for gifting purposes and with special messages and prints on them. They can get quite expensive. If you are into op shops I would have a look what they have – they sometimes get them in as new and cost a lot less.

  • Photo shops often sell much nicer ones than you can buy elsewhere. Whilst a dying breed, these places do still exist and the range they carry is good.

  • Thanks for the answers. I found some gorgeous frames at Vinnies – still in boxes!

  • The reject shop have some really good ones and they don’t look cheap.

  • I bought some very nice ones at Vinnies!

  • Usually gift shops for fancy ones.

  • Awesome answer about the op shops. I’ve just got a whole big package of school photos, and it can be expensive framing them

  • Thanks mom150006 – the op shop idea is a good one for frames!

  • Kmart & BigW have cheap ones but also check out the op shops if you are looking for repurposed ones
