Will freezing cream split it? I love to cook but if I add cream to a recipe. Can I freeze it or will it spilt?
You can freeze cream with no issue except you won’t be able to whip it up
its best not to freeze standard cream it will never defrost properly as the fats and water partially separates and it just goes weird. there are some uht reduced cream tetras that you can buy that do freeze fine
You can certainly freeze cream. You won’t be able to whip it when you defrost it though. You’ll only be able to use it as straight cream
Interesting reading, I’ve never had any luck with it.
You sure can freeze it. You will only be able to use it in cooking tho, you won’t be able to whip it after freezing
