  • San chow bow, mince stir fry in a lettuce cup. Soooo delish

  • We love to have the cooked mince with some garlic onion and carrots and wrap it all in a lettuce cup so good

  • My family love nachos, chow mein or savoury mince. Also left over savoury mince on baked potatos is yum!

  • My favourite receipes for mince are meat pie, or lasagna.

  • Nachos and lasagne are my favourites. You can also do jacket potatoes with a bolognese sauce on top with sour cream and cheese. Home-made rissoles with veggies and gravy are yummy

  • I love making Tacos a healthy alternative and they taste so good too! Just put dishes out with lettuce tomato, cheese etc and let them help themselves when the Taco and mince is done.

  • Tacos is an easy mince favorite of ours

  • Definitely rissoles.

  • Thai basil and chilli mince

  • Beef chow Ming

  • Our family loves mince because it is delicious and versatile! A few of our faves are nachos, lasagna, meatballs, meat patties for homemade burgers, and of course spaghetti bolognese.

  • Love a good chow mein!

  • A stew or casserole. Put in whatever vegetables you like…and sneak others in by grating them up. The grated ones will take the colour from the beef and won’t be visible. You can cook in a slow cooker if you want to.

  • Homemade sausage rolls are always a hit and my daughter thinks it’s a treat. Half a kilo mince, one egg, some breadcrumbs, grated carrot, spinach and seasoning. Mix all together and roll up in puff pastry and bake

  • Burritos (the kids prefer mince, I prefer steak or chicken)
Tacos, Nachos, Shephards pie, home made pies.

My mum does a chow mein using mince that is like curried vegie mince that is ok too.

  • We love tacos in our house. You can adjust the spice level to suit and we prefer soft tacos (easier to keep the filling in) that you can roll up and eat. It’s a great way to get vegetables into the kids too while making it fun. We typically use corn kernels (in the mince mix) lettuce, tomato, avocado, sour cream and grated cheese, but you can really add any ingredients you want. I have found the kids love eating them and it is fun putting all the ingredients on the table and making your own.

  • We love Asian Beef Bowls – mince and a really easy sauce of Oyster, Soy, sugar, five spice, garlic, ginger, sesame oil. Easy to make, so delicious and you can change it up and bulk it up with using heaps of different veggies. My kids LOVE these.

  • Lasagna or meatballs

  • Wow, heaps of mince dishes here. I’m going to use some of these. Some I knew but others I had forgotten and yet others are completely knew to me

  • Some of my favourite meals using mince are….chow mein, pasties, tacos, nachos, meatloaf, moussaka, meatballs, kebabs, mini meatballs in soup, curry dishes and spicy mince for topping pizza.
