Hello!

Do you ever just sit down & wonder where on earth that day went, and then looking back where on earth that week/month/year went. This morning I have been cleaning my house – & by cleaning I mean rearranging to find room for our xmas tree, washing, mopping floors, bathrooms etc – Wednesdays is my day to myself to do all of this & get some study done as my 2 munchkins are in daycare (no way I can do anything with a 2.5 yr old & a 6 month old around). Then I received a call from a friend who I haven’t spoken to in years – so lovely to catch up. A couple of hours later (& my 3rd coffee for the day) & I look at the clock & see it is now 12pm & half my day has gone with me having barely made a dent in my to do list. Now I’m looking at the million & one remaining things to do & wondering where to start & what can be put aside for another week. Now if all of this wasn’t enough for just one day I also have some study I need to do (or fail my course which is not an option), prep dinner for tonight, get the kids rooms sorted so when they come home all tired & heading towards cranky town after a long day of play etc they can just eat, bath & bed & get some more things sorted for our wedding (not till Sept next year so that can go into next weeks to do list). Phew lucky for me I can multi task :) – Coffee & MoM’s now & then Coffee & Study, Coffee & folding washing & finally maybe a little Coffee & relax before picking up the kids.

All I can say is thank god for Coffee (& day care days) xx

  • Gotta love coffee. 3 to get my day started, not much more in between, depending on my stress levels

  • Somehow the day just seems to disappear.

  • I also salute coffee in all it’s form. I too have had many days like this, still do, still will. I rather felt like supermum at the end of these manic but very productive, multi tasking days, pat yourself on the back girl :)
