Hello!

My beautiful friend was supposed to be a Mum. She wanted nothing more than to have a baby. Sadly she had fertility issues, but she refused to give up. 4 long years of IVF, 11 miscarriages and finally she was expecting. Along came a gorgeous bouncing baby boy. For 2 months she was blissed out on her bub. One day, when he was 9 weeks old, a friend came to visit with her 2 kids. No one knew she was an anit-vaxxer. She had kept that hidden. I can only hope she didn’t then know her daughter had whoping cough. Fast forward three weeks. In the intensive care unit, the nurse advised my friend if she wanted her son baptised, to do it now. Did you know there is a drawer with baptismal gowns at the hospital? The priest was there at 11. At 2 o’clock they said goodbye.
The anti-vax woman never bothered to make contact again.
Please please please vaccinate your children

  • I’m so sorry for your friend. My heart breaks for her.
I can’t believe the antivaxxer was so irresponsible

  • So cruel. The other mum should be ashamed.

  • A tragic story and heartbreaking for this poor family.

  • This is horrible. Many anti-vaxxers don’t realise that herd immunity does exist and has been proven many of times. She is still a mum, she fell pregnant, she gave birth and she cared for her son unconditionally. Unfortunately someone else took away her son :-(

  • This is heart breaking, If a person is anti Vaxx it should be made known to others, so a parent can then make a choice if its suitable for their kids to be around your kids.. I know i would do my best to avoid them been around my kid if i knew..

  • Such an immensely sad story. I truly believe vaccinations save lives and I don’t appreciate people who choose not to vaccinate, inflicting illness upon others. Heartbreaking.
